At NW Pediatric Dentistry our vision is to share the big picture. Every day we have the privilege to interact and connect with children. Not only do we have a responsibility to teach them, more importantly, we have an opportunity to learn from them. Through their eyes, we respect the little things and understand that it's all about sharing the big picture.

Mission: Embrace partnerships. Focus on prevention. Impart life skills.

In order to share the big picture, we need to embrace partnerships, focus on prevention and impart life skills. Dentistry is a small part of what we do in our practice. We use it as a tool to communicate with our patients, our parents, other health care providers and the community-at-large. By building meaningful relationships with each of these stakeholders, we teach and learn long-lasting healthy life skills that extend far beyond the dental chair.

• Our patients: By giving our patients encouragement and independence, we provide them with a sense of accomplishment. Through dentistry, we earn trust and confidence. We commit to teaching our patients about nutritional values and healthy living at an early age so that they may make wise decisions as they mature.
• Our parents: We value our partnership with parents. Without their commitment, what we teach is ineffective. We empower parents with health care knowledge that results in an overall healthier child. We value open, honest, and constant communication.
• Other health care providers: On a daily basis, we strive to connect with health care professionals inside and outside of dentistry. We will share knowledge and experiences while debunking myths, so that as colleagues, we are mutually responsible for the education of earlier oral health care.
• Community: As ambassadors for excellent oral health, we are held accountable for sharing the big picture: oral health care, diet and nutrition are at the root of healthy living. To impart this knowledge of prevention and to instill the proper wholesome routines, we will share facts and data with the community at large.
